Overview
Hotel Romanstein is a mod for shareware Wolfenstein, made by Mr. Choi. It was released on August 31, 2004.
The mod was based on Hotel Pornostein, an X-rated mod taking place in a brothel. For Hotel Romanstein, the X-rated sprites and textures were replaced with a manga/anime theme, and all nudity was covered up with bikinis or bathing suits or saw the actors replaced altogether with female guards first seen in Batman: Wrath of Mr. Freeze.
Many new block sprites were also added, including televisions and mini bars. Some graphics were based on material from the Lost Episodes and Chokage.
The mod was released with a functioning 4GL port allowing it to be played without emulation on newer machines. No source code changes were featured, making it playable in SDL as well.
