Overview

Akeyan Enigma is a single player Sokoban type of game in which the player controls an on screen character who pushed blocks around to avoid traps as they progress through the ruins of the Akeyan temple. The shareware game has just ten puzzles while the full game has fifty. The object of each puzzle is to recover hidden stone tablets that are hidden beneath red stones, only then can the player move the green stone to find the exit. The puzzles include rolling boulders, square blocks, force fields, secret passageways, teleports etc and each puzzle/level comes with an animated solution. One nice touch is that the game command buttons for Return, Play, Back etc are written in runes, presumably the Akeyan script, and morph into English as the cursor passes over them.
