Monkey Turn V

Monkey Turn V is a boat racing game based on the TV Tokyo anime series of the same name. The game features advanced techniques such as the "dump," makuri, wheelie turn (yes, even without wheels), and of course the monkey turn itself.

In addition to racing action, Monkey Turn V also serves up a drama-ridden storymode, complete with animated characters from the series. The story follows main character Hatano Kenji, but also features Doguchi Takehiro, Ubukata Sumi, and a number of new characters created just for the game. The characters also appear via small anime panels during the races to supply banter and a boat-load of authenticity. A VS mode rounds off the offering, with two-player head-to-head action.
