Overview
Gambler Jiko Chuushinha: Tokyo Mahjongland is a riichi mahjong game based on the manga by Masayuki Katayama, and a sequel to Katayama Masayuki no Mahjong Dōjō. The game includes three different modes: the main Story Mahjong mode lets the player select either Hideyuki or Dorao and follows their visit to a strange mahjong-themed amusement park; Date Mahjong Anniversary mode lets the player pick from one of nine male characters and attempt to win the heart of one of 18 female characters by playing mahjong; and Free Battle mode is a standard match play mode where any of the 51 characters can be freely selected for a regular match.
Saturn version features completely redone graphics and sound, and includes an additional 5 characters in the free battle mode, but is otherwise the same game.
