Bucket Wars 128

Protovision member Oziphantom won the C128 coding competition 2019 over at pyrofers – and now also made a #C64 version of the little game with graphics from Robin Levy that you can download for free. It is optimized for the VDC mode of the C128.

Bucket Wars is a small, Tactics RPG.

Move you units on the grid, and attack the enemy. To win get your lord in to the centre of the opposing fort and kill the enemy lord on the way.

Some units can more further than others. Each unit has something they are good at attacking, and some they are weak to.

Hold down fire on a unit to get a menu, or to view their stats.
