Overview
Frontline is a squad-level tactical strategy game set in many fronts of the World War 2. The included scenarios are Monte Cassino 1944, Guadalcanal 1942, Stalingrad 1943, Pegasus Bridge 1944 and two tutorial missions. The player commands 10-man infantry squads, to which assigns leaders (their leadership skill having a direct influence on squad's morale) and support weapons (like heavy machine guns – affecting not only firepower, but also movement rate), artillery pieces with crews are also available. Walls and shell holes may provide cover on the varied battlefields. The game features an icon-driven menu-based interface.
