Ide Yosuke no Mahjong Kazoku 2 is a traditional Japanese mahjong simulation video game released exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 2. Developed by Opus and published by Seta Corporation, the title was launched in Japan on 10 October 2000.Partly designed by and named after the renowned Tokyo mahjong expert Yosuke Ide, the game is highly regarded for its deep strategic simulation, offering multiple camera angles, adjustable opponent AI aggression, and over 100,000 tile variations. Because it was a Japanese market exclusive, the software is region-locked (NTSC-J) and requires a Japanese PS2 console or a modified system to play.
