Overview
Battle Konchuuden is a game about a young kid that love insects and one day he find a fairy in a the woods and she will start to teach him about the insects fights. Most of the fights are in the woods and the insect that your character defeats will join the player's party. Most of the time your character will have to go around the town and talk with his friends, other characters and all the characters got a japanese voice. And the first time that you meet them the game make a close up view. The battle part gameplay is like a turn based rpg game since your character are in a battlefiend and only have a range of square movements, but when you're near an enemy the battle starts and change the view to a 3D view and the gameplay is a like a rpg since you can choose the different attacks or change your insect. There is also a power up movement using the square button that is used when your insect is attacked or when you attack an enemy. Instead of the story mode there is also a VS mode in which the player can battle the computer or another human player and can use the insects that he collect in the story mode. The game also features a database of the 58 different species of insects (but only one is avaliable at the beginning of the game).
