Overview

Gangsters: Organized Crime is a strategy game by Eidos Interactive for Windows, first released in 1998 and re-released in 2012 on GOG.com. It's set in the fictional Chicago suburb of New Temperance during the Prohibition era. Start the week by giving orders to the 'hoods' under your control and then watch their actions play out in real-time. Each hood carries their own set of attributes, such as intelligence, fists, knives, or arson, making them suitable for different missions like recruiting other hoods, raiding a business or surviving a gunfight. Use extortion, bribery and violence to help the mob make money and expand territory, keeping clear of the law and enemy gangs. Dominate your rivals, become mayor of the town or even elect to go straight!
