The Dark Forest

The Dark Forest is a text adventure with RPG elements developed by Clive Gifford and Robert Young. It was published as a type-in program in their book Creating Adventures on Your Commodore 64 by Interface Publications in 1984. Gather your wits and take great care of your strength. You can type "r" to rest at any time. If you run out of strength your game will end. Can you conquer The Dark Forest, outwit your enemies, explore the forest and find and beat The Creature. If you can rid the country of a great threat you shall be well rewarded.
