Hurry Fox: Yuki no Maou hen

Overview

One year after the end of the first game, the mother and her kit are living together in the forest when a sudden winter storm strikes. The mother tragically dies when the two are separated in the snow. Scared and alone in the cold, they're left to fend for themselves. Finally, they remember Mari, the girl who saved their life in the last game, and set out to find her - only to discover they'll need to return the favour...

Players control the fox kit through a text parser interface, typing simple commands in katakana. Large illustrations depicting the current scene take up about half of the screen, and players are also given text descriptions of what's happening. This game is overall much less bloodthirsty than the first, with far fewer opportunities to die, and players are given a bit more of an opportunity to explore the world.
