Overview
The Flash follows the DC superhero as he races through city streets to stop criminals and rescue civilians. Players guide the hero through a gauntlet of obstacles, balancing speed with reflexes while confronting villainous figures who appear across the roadway. The device borrows imagery and branding from the early-1990s Flash television series and comic license, condensing the premise into a single chase sequence.
The player controls the Flash as he runs along a multi-lane street shown on the LCD. Movement between lanes avoids incoming obstacles such as debris or vehicles. Action buttons trigger the Flash’s signature abilities: Run increases speed, Punch/Brake halts or attacks, and Tie or Pick are used in sequence-based segments where the Flash captures or rescues targets. A “Power Timer” and “MPH” speed indicator appear at the top of the screen, showing performance and pace.
