Yuu Disk Vol. 3: Kanako-san no Yuuutsu

Overview

Kanako-san no Yuuutsu (Kanako's Depression) was originally published as one of three scenarios in the visual novel collection "DOR" . It was also bundled together with magazine-style book (mook) and sold in bookstores by the name "Yuu Disk Vol. 3: Kanako-san no Yuuutsu"..

Each scenario is short but offers multiple plot developments and endings, written by different authors for variety. The game features command selection gameplay typical to Japanese games at the time.

In Kanako's Depression, the protagonist meets Kanako Nagata, a timid girl who claims to be a vampire. She offers to make him a vampire if he allows her to be his servant for a day. She performs various tasks for him, and the scenario ends with a promise: if Kanako holds his hand for an hour, she can suck his blood.

Kanako also appears in "Machine Warfare Gail Van ACT2," implying she lives with the protagonist. Released by Mediax in September 1994 as a two-disc floppy, the game includes voice acting for the heroine and additional original artwork.
