Overview
Gorph is a clone of Gorf for multiple systems. The Gorfian Empire is attacking the Earth. The player represents the only surviving pilot left to defend the planet, and has been commanded to fly through space and confront the various Gorfian attack fleets. The player controls a small space ship that moves horizontally at the bottom of the screen and fires directly forwards. Each level is divided into four separate missions: - Space Invaders: The player controls their vessel behind a large shield, and must destroy the enemies as they cross the screen before they reach the bottom. - Laser Attack: The player must destroy groups of enemies that sweep towards the player while firing upon them. - Firebird: The player must destroy the circling firebird while avoiding fireballs. - Mothership: A large mothership crosses the screen, moving one line lower each turn. The player must destroy the outside shielding to hit the vessel's internal reactor. The player starts with three lives, and an extra vessel is awarded every 10,000 points.
