Pool 400

Overview

Pool 400 is the cartridge version of an earlier game, Pool 1.5.

Pool 400 has a top-down graphical display of a pool table, and attempts to accurately simulate the physics of pool. Players take turns shooting, and gameplay follows standard rules. The player uses paddles or joystick to move their aim 360 degrees. The player can control the strength of their shot from 1 - 8, and 9 locations where on the white ball to hit, to control ball spin. Players can define board friction, and the speed of gameplay. Players can also review their past shot with a replay feature.
