Strikes and Spares

Overview

Strikes and Spares, released by Bally in 1978, is a bowling-themed game designed by Gary Gayton with artwork by Kevin O'Connor. It features two flippers, three pop bumpers, a kick-out hole, a rollunder spinner, and ten star rollover buttons arranged in the shape of a bowling pin rack. This game was one of Bally's first solid-state machines, transitioning from electro-mechanical to electronic scoring.
