Pyramid

Overview

Pyramid is an electromechanical (EM) pinball machine released by D. Gottlieb & Co. in February 1978. It is notable for being one of the final EM games produced by Gottlieb as the industry transitioned to solid-state (SS) digital technology.

Pyramid is the 2-player EM version of the more common 4-player game, "Cleopatra", which was available in both EM and SS formats. The machine was designed by Ed Krynski, with iconic ancient Egyptian-themed artwork by Gordon Morison. It had a limited production run of only 950 units.
