Overview
Break is a rare electronic pinball machine released in March 1986 by the Spanish company Videodens. It is designed for 1 to 4 players and is characterized by its late-80s arcade aesthetic.
The game includes standard features of the era, such as pop bumpers, rollover lanes, and drop targets. The machine features a dedicated bank of drop targets that spell out "B R E A K".
Because so few resources and physical machines remain, Break is often considered a collector's curiosity or a "mystery" table within the pinball community. While original physical units are extremely rare, the machine's mechanics have been preserved through virtual pinball recreations on platforms like Visual Pinball X.
Recreations of the table highlight a minimalist, atmospheric 1980s style, often associated with early video game culture. Recent digital versions have added "Sound Mods" that introduce modern sound effects and color LEDs (adjustable to red, blue, green, yellow, or orange) to the virtual display.
