Overview
His own world threatened by a planet destroying force, Voltan must find a way to escape COSMIC DOOM!
Voltan Escapes Cosmic Doom is a highly collectible, sci-fi-themed solid-state pinball machine manufactured by Bally Manufacturing Co. in February 1979. The game is widely praised for its over-the-top, classic fantasy/space aesthetics. The backglass and cabinet feature bold, neon-style color palettes, showcasing superhero-esque space characters battling cosmic forces. The artwork was created by the Dave Christensen, known for his vibrant, detailed, and edgy style during the peak of Bally's success.
No factory flyer was ever made for Voltan, as it didn't make it to full production, owing to test samples performing poorly on location. Bally produced only 365 units, making it one of the rarest machines from their solid-state era.
