Overview
Prove yourself in the arena of champions! This 1982 table delivers pure competitive thrill and competitive pinball challenge.
Released by Italian manufacturer Zaccaria in April 1982, Pinball Champ '82 marked the debut of the company’s "second generation" solid-state hardware. The table features vibrant, "red-hot" playfield art and a backglass with bikini-clad figures.
It is celebrated as a fast-paced, high-difficulty table that introduced several major innovations for the brand. This was Zaccaria’s first game with two playfields. It features a total of four flippers: two on the main level and two on an elevated, transparent upper playfield. It was also one of the first Zaccaria tables to include speech, famously taunting players with phrases like "Challenge the champ!" or "What a low score, try harder".
Due to its success, Zaccaria released a revised version in 1983 (simply titled "Pinball Champ") with updated artwork.
