Artillery

Overview

Artillery is an adaptation of the well known formula. Players take turn firing their artillery shots at the enemy. They only have to provide an angle and amount of gunpowder (for distance). The wind changes strength and direction each turn which has to be taken into calculation. The levels are randomly generated between every game and shells that are fired leave a small crater. If a player hits the other player the game is over. This version features only two player hot-seat play.

Originally released for Commodore PET in 1979, the game was later released for C64 on multiple computer magazines as a type-in program in early 80s. Released as part of the 20 program Canadian only compilation called Commodore 64 Program Pack.
