Overview
Released in June 1978 by Bally Manufacturing Co., Black Jack is a classic four-player pinball machine. It is notable for being one of the first generation of Bally's solid-state (SS) games, though it was also the final Bally title produced in a rare electro-mechanical (EM) version.
It was designed by Jim Patla with artwork by Dick White. Bally produced 4,883 solid-state units and only 120 electro-mechanical units, making the EM version highly collectible.
