Overview
Big Deal is an electro-mechanical (EM) pinball machine released by Williams Electronics in May 1977. Designed by the legendary Steve Kordek, it stands out as one of the last full-production electro-mechanical games before the industry pivoted to solid-state technology.
The theme of the table is cards and gambling, with artwork provided by Christian Marche. Big Deal was the first Williams machine to feature drop targets grouped into banks, a design element that later became a staple in pinball.
7,301 units were produced (with roughly 4,400 shipped to Europe).
