Overview
The Bell Ringer is a rare, novelty pinball machine released in November 1990 by D. Gottlieb & Co. (under the Premier trade name). Unlike standard pinball tables of that era, it was designed as a ticket redemption game for family entertainment centres and is significantly smaller than a full-sized machine.
The machine features a carnival theme with artwork depicting a roller coaster and carnival barker. In attract mode, it plays circus-style music and uses voice callouts like "Hey kid, step right up!"
The table does not have flippers or bumpers. Players shoot a ball onto the playfield, aiming for specific holes to win tickets. If the ball enters the center hole, a separate captive ball is fired to hit a physical bell on the playfield.
Approximately 160 units were produced.
