Overview
Blue Chip is a single-player electro-mechanical pinball machine released by Williams in December 1976. Designed by Steve Kordek with artwork by Christian Marche, this machine features a business and industry theme, with stock market tickers, scientists, and industrial workers.
Unlike many older EM tables, Blue Chip uses DC power for the playfield (via a bridge rectifier), which eliminates the traditional "AC buzz" and provides snappier flipper action. Approximately 2,150 units were produced.
