Big Indian (1974) is a classic four-player electro-mechanical (EM) pinball machine manufactured by D. Gottlieb & Co.. Renowned for its vibrant Western-themed artwork by Gordon Morison and design by Ed Krynski, it is highly regarded among collectors for its challenging and rewarding gameplay.
The game was originally titled "Chief" and then "Big Injun." Production was reportedly delayed for three months to change the name to "Big Indian" following feedback from Native American employees at Gottlieb's assembly plant. Gottlieb produced 8,030 units.
