Overview
Ai confini della realtà means On the Edge of Reality and it is an Italian language text adventure created by Fabrizio Fornasiero and published in Commodore 64 Club #02 [Italian Release]. You are in a plane whose engine has been struck by lightening. The plane loses altitude and you, a young and brilliant successful manager, decide to abandon the plane so you can save yourself. As the parachute opens you see the burning plane above you moving away into the low clouds and then nothing... A terrible gust of wind breaks one of the parachute straps and you fall heavily into the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean; you feel your legs stiffen but you still manage to free yourself from the parachute; you lose consciousness. The sunbeam hits your eyes and you wake up on a sunny beach... deserted, it seems. After the first moment of confusion you decide to explore the island and try to understand where you might find yourself. You probably don't understand much about navigation and nautical maps but the presence of an island in the center of the Atlantic Ocean is quite suspicious and you wouldn't really be able to give it a name... at least not rationally. However, it is useless to stay on the beach and wait; it is necessary instead to start exploring the island and look for some possibility of salvation....
