Overview
Capersville, released by Bally Manufacturing Co. in 1966, was a landmark machine in the evolution of pinball design. Created by Ted Zale with artwork by Jerry Kelley, it was one of the first games to feature a 3-ball multiball, which was a major innovation at the time. It also introduced "zipper flippers," which allowed players to close the gap between flippers, preventing balls from draining down the middle—an element that became a signature of Zale's designs.
