Overview
Released in September 1977 by the Italian manufacturer Zaccaria, Combat is a 4-player electromechanical (EM) pinball machine known for its exceptionally fast gameplay for an EM machine, rivaling early solid-state games.
The table features two flippers, three pop bumpers, and five drop targets. It is notable for include an early soundboard, which was rare for EM games of that era; it produces beeps and "bomb explosion" sounds.
The artwork depicts a WWII naval battle, featuring a screen-printed cabinet with a battleship and a playfield with vibrant, hand-drawn colors. A unique backglass "explosion" lighting effect triggers when certain targets are hit.
