Overview
Released in August 1971 by D. Gottlieb & Co., Card King is a single-player electro-mechanical pinball machine known for its classic playing-card theme. It was designed by the legendary duo Ed Krynski (design) and Gordon Morison (art), who were responsible for many of Gottlieb's most popular tables of that era. It is essentially the same game as Drop-A-Card (also 1971), but with an additional score reel (5 instead of 4). Card King had a production run of 2,340 units.
