Overview
Flip Flop, a pinball machine by Bally released in January 1976, features a western theme with a symmetrical layout, designed by Jim Patla and artwork by Dick White featuring horseshoes, wagon trains and other western iconography.
It includes four flippers, two pop bumpers, and two kickout holes. Instead of standard drop targets, the game features a bank of targets that flip over (like flags) when hit. Each target flip awards 1,000 bonus points; once all four are flipped, hitting the mushroom bumper awards 5,000 points and resets the targets.
5,350 units were produced.
