Overview
Speed Test pinball machine, released by Taito do Brasil in 1982, is a solid-state table themed around auto racing. It is notable for being a specialized "clone" of Bally’s 1982 hit, Vector, adapted specifically for the Brazilian market during a period of high import taxes and trade restrictions.
It features the same complex playfield layout as Bally's Vector, but with entirely different artwork and unique electronic sound effects.
Notable Features: Flippers (4), 4-bank drop targets (1), 3-bank drop targets (2), Standup targets (5), Kick-out holes (3), Star rollovers (2), Rollover button (1), Rollunder (1). No pop bumpers. Left crossover return lane. Each outlane has a kick-out hole to return the ball to the flipper inlane.
