Overview
Top Dawg (1988) is actually a shuffle alley (bowling) machine rather than a traditional pinball machine. It was manufactured by Williams Electronic Games, Inc. (WMS) and was one of the last shuffle alley models the company produced before ceasing production of that line in 1988.
Players slide a physical puck down a lane to trigger "rollover" switches that correspond to bowling pins on the backglass. It uses the Williams System 11B MPU/driver board system, which was the same technology powering many popular pinball machines of that era.
