Volley (Gottlieb)

Overview

The Volley pinball machine is a classic electro-mechanical game released by D. Gottlieb & Co. in August 1976. It was designed by Ed Krynski with artwork by Gordon Morison, created to capitalize on the 1970s tennis craze. Approximately 2,900 units were produced.

It's a single player game known for its distinctive 3 bank drop target arrangement. Completing each set of targets is crucial for progressing and scoring high points. The game has a unique scoring system where hitting lit targets yields higher points. For instance, hitting a lit target can score 5,000 points, while unlit targets score 500 points.
