Overview
The Lone Raider is an arcade platform game consisting of three stages, where you must raid an enemy base to destroy its transmitter.
In the first stage, you must shoot robots that appear from the sides of the screen with your sonic laser, and duck as they shoot at you. Once enough of the enemy are destroyed, an indestructable terminator appears and you need to escape inside the enemy base before you are crushed.
The second stage involves collecting dots, in the neutron storeroom, which is a building with eight floors. Mutant guards patrol the area, and the floors are connected by zap doors which are periodically activate, sucking you through whether you want to go or not. Each floor has a patrolling blue proton. Capturing this will charge you up for a limited period of time and allow you to destroy mutants on contact while it is active. The goal of this level is to first capture all of the neutrons, and then make your way to the bottom of the screen and exit through a newly created zap door.
Stage three is a simpler three-floor maze, but with fast and deadly defensites that move about in eccentric patterns. Once you have made it to the transmitter at the bottom right of the maze, your job is done and you are beamed back into your spaceship, ready to start again at a higher level of difficulty.
