Overview
The Famous Five: Dangerous Discovery is the fourth game in Ravensburger's Famous Five series after the books of Enid Blyton for ages 7 and up. Julian, Dick, George, Anne and the dog Timmy are again at Kirrin Cottage during the summer holidays. An old acquaintance of Uncle Quentin, Mr Brown, is lodging at the cottage. He is an archaeologist who has found a possible Rome settlement. Mr. Brown has left for a couple of days to go to the world's fair, and of course the five can't resist to take a peek at the excavation. They find a vase that seems to be from Roman times. But they also find two men sleeping in the hut during the day, and during the night someone with a flashlight is wandering around at the dig site. In a shaft nearby they hear strange knocking sounds. The five are determined to find out what is going on at the dig site and to solve the mystery.
