NetHack: Falcon's Eye

Nethack, a roguelike dungeon crawler running on a terminal, was originally released back in 1987. The object is to become a demigod by recovering the Amulet of Yendor from the randomly generated Mazes of Menace (and the other dungeons attached to it) and sacrificing it on your god's altar.

Falcon's Eye adds sound, isometric graphics and mouse control. It can be seen either as a remake or just a GUI as it works on top of the original, therefore aiming to be compatible for all future updates of Nethack as the game was and still is in active development.

When the development of Falcon's Eye stalled, the game evolved further into a new project called Vulture.
