"When someone fails to pay their taxes they send a letter, when a whole district fails to pay they send the TAXMAN!" The Taxman Cometh is a humorous text adventure published as a part of a compilation "One More Big Disk!" where the protagonist is a tax inspector ordered to investigate the owners of mail-order software houses and free-lance writers, among others. They may have hidden the business lunches and the all-inclusive trip to the convention; your job is to get them to pay what they owe. First part of the series, followed by "Tax Returns" and "The Final Demand".
