Overview

Gridiron Glory is a 2-player American football coaching game for the 8-bit Atari.

Each player starts by choosing 1 of 28 American football teams, and the game attempts to simulate their skill level in a variety of statistics. Gameplay is divided into four 8-minute quarters, and gameplay follows typical American football rules. Each turn, the players have a limited time frame to choose from 8 offensive or 6 defensive plays, which are hidden from their opponent. A player can also select to try for a field goal, and can choose from 3 different kickoffs.
