Overview
Copter Chase is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari. The player controls a helicopter which can move in all directions, with the goal of catching a quickly moving purple object. The player must avoid incoming planes and rapidly moving helicopters. If the enemy helicopters catch the purple object it temporarily disappears. The player gathers points every time they catch the object, and more enemy helicopters appear on the screen. There are 3 levels of difficulty. The player starts with 5 helicopters, and loses one when they collide with a plane or helicopter.
