Oligopoly

Oligopoly for the 48K Spectrum is the second in our series of listings of Cambridge Award winners. The game is for one to six players and each plays the boss of a company which is in competition with each others. Your objective is to create wealth at a faster rate than your competitors. You will need to make decisions on production levels, selling price, marketing expenses and the level of dividends needed to keep your company afloat. During the program you will be given news flashes about the state of the market, along with annual reports and forecasts. The computer will prompt for any information it requires but it will be for you to find the strategy to beat your competitors.
