Overview
Take the field and score big! With penalty shots, matchday atmosphere, and fast footwork, this table is a tribute to football glory.
Released to coincide with the 1982 World Cup in Spain, Soccer Kings was one of Zaccaria's best-selling solid-state tables, with an estimated 2,914 units produced.
Known for its unique gameplay, the machine includes two playfields—one main and one upper "attack zone"—and uses five flippers, four on the main playfield and one in the "attack zone" which the player must use to shoot the ball past a moving rubber goalie and into the goal.
The table includes speech synthesis, a major innovation for Zaccaria at the time, which guides players to specific targets.
