A-Rogue

Overview

A-Rogue (or Atari Rogue) is a BASIC interpretation of the famous RPG that spawned the "Roguelike" genre. This was developed by Robert Jung and published as a type-in listing in Vol. 6 / No. 1 of Antic Magazine in 1987. This was the first time that Rogue got an implementation on the Atari 8-bit computers. An official port of Rogue was released a year later by Mastertronic, but only in Europe.
