Overview
Apple Invaders is an Atari 800 translation of the Apple II game Micro Invaders (also known as Apple Invaders) published by Creative Computing. As the name suggests, game play is standard Space Invaders, and the original Super Invaders was meant to be a close copy of the arcade game. On the Atari, some vertical striping can be seen in sprite movement, due to the 7 bit stripe representation of video memory on the Apple being adapted to the Atari 8 bit approach.
