Overview
Dedicated to the memory of Emilio Salgueiro. Recent events had taught Phantomas that the only way to tackle an evil was at its roots. For centuries, a mysterious civilization hidden somewhere in the Andromeda nebula, had ruled the fates of the Universe in a covert way. Through small blows of effect, he had done and undone at ease in the course of events. He had overthrown kings, placed others, tipped the balance towards the most propitious side in battles, ruined rich countries or raised nauseating pigsty to the finest of luxuries. The last traces of its existence, found on the Andromeda ship that went to crash into the Bassard Asteroid, where Phantomas was confined, had been revealing: ancient as the universe, its branches spanned the eight octants of the Universe.
