American History Adventure

Overview

American History Adventure is a text-based trivia game related to American history for multiple systems.

The player takes on the role of a roving time-travelling reporter who must interview various important people from North American history. Starting with Leif Erikson and his visit to North America, the player must answer multiple choice questions, where the follow up question is always related to the previous answer whether right or wrong. The player receives 100 points for a correct answer and 0 points for a wrong answer. The player can ask for a hint, but then the correct answer is only worth 50 points. Trivia questions move forward chronologically through American history. The player receives a final score at the end of their adventure.

Despite what the title screen says, the game was released in 1986 on the Amiga.
