Star Action

Overview

Star Action, released by Williams Electronic Games in December 1973, is the single-player add-a-ball variant of the popular Triple Action pinball machine. Designed by Steve Kordek with artwork by Christian Marche, this electro-mechanical table features a unique central spinning turntable that advances through ten lights to award double and eventually triple scoring.

Its gameplay is defined by a "Up Top All Day" (UTAD) strategy, where players aim for top rollovers to maximize bonuses before taking high-risk shots at the center spinner or the A-B-C-D drop targets to earn extra balls.

With only 1,155 units produced, it is a rarer collector's piece compared to its replay-style counterpart.
