Overview
Virus: The Game (not to be confused with the more well known title from Sir-Tech Software) is a shareware single player, strategical action game. The game is keyboard controlled and the player takes the role of Vinny the Virus. As the player passes over a square it changes colour. The first pass reveals key pieces of data which the player must return to in order to score. Squares will eventually change colour to black and the player can get stuck on these at which point the system's anti-virus beast will kill the virus. The objective of the game is to capture all the pieces of data and find the exit to complete the level and the player has three lives in which to do this. The shareware version of the game has just two levels while the full version has thirty.
