Overview
The Big Hit pinball machine released in 1946 was manufactured by the Exhibit Supply Company who were a prominent Chicago-based manufacturer active from 1932 to 1957.
This electromechanical machine was released before the invention of flippers (introduced in 1947), meaning gameplay relied on the ball's momentum and the player's ability to "nudge" the cabinet.
