Overview
The Oregon Trail 3rd Edition is the second sequel to the 1985 edutainment video game The Oregon Trail after Oregon Trail II. This game hearkens back to the days of the first Oregon Trail, meaning that instead of tons of options that made up Oregon Trail II, there are significantly less in this installment. There is only one place you can go to (besides the fact you can stop anywhere), which is Oregon City. You can also only have five or so people in your group. You can hunt, and you can fish, which is a new gameplay element. You can also go down the Dalles River in a first-person view (along with floating across rivers.)
